Our little group (3 families) just returned from our annual Easter vacation jaunt... each year we try some place new. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we had at Villa El Cantico. The house is truly "life styles of the rich and famous". The pictures on the web do not do it justice. "It's beautiful". The fridge was stocked and ready for a snack and cold cocktail upon arrival. Arriving late Friday, Maria across the street at Issimo Suites, had a table for 8 waiting with a delicious meal (sunset was beautiful).

Each morning found us with coffee or mimosa in hand watching the monkeys play in the trees just of the deck. We saw so much from the deck of the Villa (monkeys, lizards, beautiful birds).  The house staff were splendid and very discrete.  They pointed out a three-toed sloth in the tree.

This years vacation to Costa Rica left everyone asking "where did the week go?" We normally start talking about the next Easter vacation around summers end, but Villa El Cantico is already on our lips for a return trip next year. I have a feeling our little group may grow. High marks to Villa El Cantico. Anyone who contemplates traveling to Costa Rica should make this their home base.

I truly can not capture the amount of fun we had at Villa El Cantico in words.  It was the greatest vacation that we have ever had. The Brumleys and the Chiapellas also stated it was their favorite vacation as well.

We saw more wildlife from the deck of the Villa than we did at any other location.  Ricardo, Andrea and Louis were top notch.  Ricardo acted as a tour guide during our trip from San Jose to Quepos.  He also stopped with us at the super market for groceries. Andrea was at the house every day for 6-8 hours but was very discrete.  She and the gardener would point out wildlife in the yard.  Louis’ food was fantastic.  My daughter tried and liked food that she never would have in the States.  The kids got bad sunburns surfing and Louis came over with a special local sunburn treatment.  He also helped us with restaurants and shopping.

Lastly, I would like to thank you.  I know this was a last minute change and you handled it very professional making us quite comfortable before we arrived.  I would recommend Villa El Cantico to anyone who is interest in Costa Rica.

My family and I just returned home from our visit to fabulous Villa El Cantico with the Brown’s (My Sister Carol and her husband David).  We literally had the time of our lives.  The home provided us the most spectacular combination of luxury, view and overall experience.  Thank you for accommodating our group on such short notice.  Everyone was nice and helpful beyond words.  Our families have fallen in love with the home, the region, the community and all of the Villa related people we met.  Please pass along our sincere thanks to everyone in Quepos involved in our trip. We are already talking about a return trip for sometime in 2007 – probably the summer.

Melissa and Kevin,

We have a fabulous time on vacation!  Villa El Cantico far exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect.  We couldn't have been happier.  Andrea, our housekeeper, was so hardworking and did a great job.  The guards and groundkeeper kept the villa and grounds safe and clean and even cleaned our car. Also, I need to rave;  Lewi's family was incredibly attentive and accommodating.  In addition to the wonderful setup, cooking, service, cleanup and smiles, their son taught two of our family members surfing on the beach and one of their family friends came to the house for manicure/pedicure services.  You should have seen the scene she painted on my eight year old daughters toenails; Red nails, then, two Dalmatians sitting on grass, facing each other with flowers behind each of them!  Such detail and my daughter was thrilled!! We loved the house and mourned leaving!

 My husband, kids and I had arrived in Costa Rica a week earlier and explored Poas, Arenal and Monteverde having a great time and learning much along the way. 

Once on the beach in Manuel Antonio, we felt at home.  I am trying to figure out when we can return!

Dear Melissa and Kevin,

We just returned from our fabulous vacation in Costa Rica!

Villa El Cantico was just amazing-comfortable, elegant, luxurious--we couldn't have asked for a better place!  The house itself was magnificent, and it is in a gorgeous setting of trees, tropical plants and a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.  The pool was lovely and we used it every day.

Thanks so much for helping us to set this vacation up.

You were both terrific and made the initial planning a pleasure.  It will be a treasured family memory for all of us in the many years ahead.

Our family of six (four teenagers) had a fantastic time at Villa El Cantico at the beginning of June. The house is beautiful, we enjoyed the swimming pool, and really loved the view and seeing the monkeys pass by in the afternoon. Our maid and house manager were great and helped to make it a true vacation. We would recommend this villa to anyone, doesn't get much better.
